DESCRIPTION
Toxins and Poisons Adsorbent for the Gastrointestinal Tract.
INTENDED USE
Enterex® is indicated as an adsorbent for toxins and poisons present in the gastrointestinal tract of cats and dogs, in the case of poisoning, miscellaneous intoxication and an aid in the treatment of diarrhea and gastroenteritis.
Enterex® is indicated as an adsorbent of toxins and poisons, which can be present in the gastrointestinal tract of equines, bovines, buffaloes, goats, sheep, pigs, dogs and cats, in cases of poisoning, diverse intoxications and as an ancillary in diarrheas and gastroenteritis
Enterex® can be very effectivly used also topically, as hot/warm compression directly on the skin, wound, bite:
- as adsorbent in case of snake bites, bites of different insects
- dirty and infectious wounds, to clean and to reduce swelling

DIRECTIONS FOR USE
SMALL ANIMALS
To be used orally, diluted in water and administered using a syringe or nasogastric tube. To use the sachet in water, dilute each sachet in 40 mL.
In cases of diarrhea and gastroenteritis:
• Dogs and cats: 40ml up to 20kg of body weight every 8 to 12 hours.
In cases of poisoning and intoxication:
• Dogs and cats: 80ml up to 20kg of body weight every 4 to 6 hours until symptoms improve.
NOTES:
1- Most effective when administered rapidly in acute poisoning, within 30 minutes after ingestion of the poison.
2- In monogastric animals in the suspension may be used for gastric lavage.
BIG ANIMALS
For oral administration, added to feed or diluted in water. In case of use diluted in water, each sachet must be diluted in 40mL of water and administered with the use of a syringe or nasogastric tube.
In case of diarrhea and gastroenteritis:
• Foals, calves, sheep, goats and pigs: 80mL for each 100kg of body weight, every 8 to 12 hours;
• Adult equines, bovines and buffaloes: 200mL for each 500kg of body weight, every 8 to 12 hours.
In cases of poisoning and intoxication:
• Foals, calves, sheep, goats and pigs: 160mL for each 100kg of body weight, every 4 to 6 hours, until symptoms improve;
• Adult equines, bovines and buffaloes: 400mL for each 500kg of body weight, every 4 to 6 hours, until symptoms improve.
NOTES:
1 – This medication is more efficient when promptly administered in cases of acute poisoning within 30 minutes after poison ingestion.
2 – In animals with a simple single-chambered stomach, the suspension can be used for gastric lavage.
